Banana Slug Slide

Acrylic on Plywood.

Slugs are annoying in the garden but Bananas are pretty neat looking and each one unique like our fingertips. When I stumble upon them on a walk, they remind me to slow down and that time is made up.

Ice Cream Sandwich

Acrylic on plywood.

My favorite cow off Kjargaard Rd. There are two of them with this pattern on the island as far as I can see from the road. Ice Cream Sandwich is my name for them.

Forget-Me-Hot

Giclee print of digital Illustration with archival ink on archival matte paper with artist’s chosen custom frame handmade by Signed & Numbered Art & Frame (BuiltFromWood.org) with glare free glass.

El Pato cans remind me of the places that were home in my 20’s and I’m in love with their colors. My friends and I had little cactuses planted in them on our windowsills, so this is a new twist on that with Forget-Me-Nots. Forget not where you’ve come from, it has shaped who you are.

The Hand of Wild Roses

Acrylic on plywood. Aprox 10 x 10

Inspired by a photo I snapped on a walk on the southend of the island. Makes me think of “The Creation of Adam” painting by Michelangelo, except flipped in a few ways and “god” being the nature around us.  A reminder to be present & soak in the beauty of this place.
